I have over 18 years of experience in psychiatry across the UK, New Zealand and Australia. I am a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. I have experience of working in public and private sectors, providing telehealth service and working with patients from regional and rural Australia. I have expertise in assessment and treatment of a range of psychiatric disorders in adults including depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders and personality disorders. I also provide assessment and treatment for ADHD in adults. I am meticulous in my approach to prescribing psychiatric medications. I equally value lifestyle modification as a tool. My approach has been influenced by various schools of psychotherapy such as psychodynamic, CBT, family therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. I provide an individualised patient-centred care with a focus on self management and improving quality of life. I find my work rewarding and I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families.
