I am skilled in addressing the full range or perinatal illnesses from preconception through to the cild is of preschool age including mood and anxiety disorders, non-acute Bipolar Disorder and psychotic disorders, developmental trauma, pregnancy loss and perinatal trauma. I also have a keen interest in women’s mental health outside of the perinatal period. I focus on both psychological, biological, social and relational factors utilising psychotherapy including trauma informed and EMDR, medication management especially the safe prescribing in pregnancy and breastfeeding and recommend a holist approach to wellbeing with lifestyle approaches such as a Mediterranean diet, prioritising sleep, mindfulness and mind body practices. Accessible care is important to me. Working with Call To Mind enables me to provide care to those who have limited access to care and provide specialist support to primary health and frontline mental health colleagues in rural and remote locations.
