Dr Vid Rudhran is an experienced psychiatrist with over 20 years of practice across a variety of clinical settings. He works with adults and young people experiencing a range of mental health concerns, with a particular focus on early intervention, youth mental health, and the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr Rudhran completed his specialist psychiatric training in Australia and also holds medical qualifications from India. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD), and has additional qualifications in medical administration as an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA).
His clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of conditions such as depression, anxiety, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He also provides assessments for personality difficulties, taking a trauma-informed approach that considers how past experiences can influence current mental health and wellbeing.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Rudhran is actively involved in teaching and mentoring psychiatry trainees and enjoys supporting the next generation of psychiatrists in their professional development.
