Dr Elsie Jing is an experienced psychiatrist who trained at some of Australia’s leading hospitals, beginning her psychiatry training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, followed by advanced training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Alfred Health in Melbourne. She has extensive experiences working with adults, young people, children and families across a range of outpatient and inpatient settings. Her work in general psychiatry as well as subspecialised areas, including eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disability. She takes a holistic and personalised approach to recovery, recognising the uniqueness and complexity of each individual’s mental health journey. Her wide experiences have informed her approach to provide comprehensive assessment and personalised treatment plans, incorporating both evidence-based pharmacological treatments and tailored psychotherapeutic interventions. She is actively involved in medical student teaching, research and regularly attends conferences to stay updated on the latest developments in psychiatry.
